What if all emotions were a gift? with Caroline Dupont

In this week’s episode, we continue to build on concept of happiness as a choice, which was introduced by Dr. Jean Skillman in episode 8. I’m joined by one of my teachers, Caroline Dupont, where she explains the effect of emotions on our body.

This is a topic that speaks dearly to my heart, both as a Health Coach and in my own personal journey. I have affirmed my belief that our emotions and our body are so deeply interconnected – and somehow that often gets ignored when we’re not perceived to be feeling happy.

Her Recipe

This is Caroline’s favorite fruit based green salad. It’s quick and oh-so-delicious-and-satisfying.

  • 1 avocado, cubed
  • 1 cup strawberries, sliced (or other berries)
  • 2 peaches, sliced (or other fruit)
  • 2 stalks celery, sliced
  • red or green onion, sliced fine
  • 1 cup cilantro, chopped
  • juice of 1 orange
  • 4 cups lettuce, spinach or kale (finely chopped)
  • salt, to taste

Toss everything in a bowl. The avocado will mix with the orange juice to form a dressing.
